Planning Permission

If you’re planning to build, convert or alter a property in any way, you must obtain the required permissions before carrying out the work or you may encounter future problems that could have been avoided. Most planning applications will be determined within 8 weeks of the application being submitted. We’re here to help guide you through what can become a bit of a minefield, and handle all the relevant paperwork on your behalf.

Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee the local authority will approve planning applications, but we make sure they have the best possible chance, with approximately 95% of our applications being granted permission within eight weeks of submission.

Building Regulations

After planning permission has been granted, your project will need building regulations approval. We can prepare your application, liaise with the local authority building inspector, and ensure work is completed to the required, stringent standards. When work is finished, we’ll make sure the building inspector is satisfied and all associated documents have been submitted (see THINGS TO CONSIDER), after which a completion certificate will be issued.
